Wow! I would like to experience the 60" of snow! Before my husband's job moved us, we were actually planning on moving to Jacksonville Beach, FL. It was when he told his job of our plans that they offered him the promotion. We just wanted out of Little Rock. Considering the money (and me wanting to experience life where there is a winter) we decided Joplin was a good move. We can always retire to FL.
I always saw myself moving somewhere like Wisconsin or Minnesota then after some years there going someplace like Florida. I was a "sheltered" southern girl, not getting to experience much of anything. My husband on the other hand has traveled and experienced everything from being snowed-in in Nevada to Hurricanes in North Carolina. It was about 6 months after we had been dating that my husband started planning trips to get me out of Arkansas. I've seen more of the U.S. in the past 4 years than in my whole life. I insist on driving on all our trips so I can see everything! Don't get me wrong, Arkansas is a beautiful state, but there is so much more out there. Fogebotom-I would love to come spend a week with you! I still have my house in Little Rock if you want warmer weather
I will try to get some good pictures of the girls next time it snows. Possibly tomorrow per the weather guy. I am already looking forward to next winter!
