When you say "we recommend" who is the "we."
Who says who is a reputable breeder.
Many people want Corgis just as pets and companions - not for shows or sport. So why pay leading breeder prices and prices for show-quality dogs when this is the case.
Mind you, the USA has the world's largest number of dogs per capita. I suppose one might therefore consider there is some kind of dog overpopulation in the USA and that there is a lot of bad dog owners. I think it's the latter.
If leading Corgi breeders in New Zealand and in other countries outside of the USA, wish to sell Corgis to the USA, why shouldn't they be allowed advertising access in Go Corgi. Any person buying a Corgi in the USA from a far flung country like NZ would have to be a committed dog owner. Some of NZ's leading breeders do sell Corgis to the USA and to many other parts of the world.
