Off topic for a moment: Yes...I forgot to mention that I think the name Penny is a darling name for a Corgi - especially if she is red (copper) and white! Of course, not that it matters what others think, but there you have it! My husband named both our dogs - Wimsey (as in Lord Peter Wimsey from the Dorothy Sayers novels) and Chloe (unknown reason!)

I really resonate to the "schedule' described by Cindy - "potty" becomes more or less a full-time job in itself!! At just over a year Chloe does not really bark to let us know that she needs to go out - we still go out frequently enough that she apparently has enough opportunities to relieve herself...I don't know if that is good or bad. When we left her with my parents recently she never had a problem or accident so I guess she made her needs known sufficiently...

Anxious to see photos - many good thoughts!
