Fish oils such as the oil content of tins of tuna, sardines, salmom and herrings and the Omega 3 aspect are healthy additions, externally great for skin and coat, to a dog's overall diet. But keep the quantities right down because they all promote runny poops. There would be some AAFCO-approved dry dog food that contains Omega 3.
