If one has no other choice but to place your Corgi/s with commercial canine operations, then the best you can do for your baby/babies is to have joined a dog club or two in your town/area/region. That way, you can talk to other club members and you'll find not just one or two but maybe many who have experienced dealing with these operators or know of others who have and can pass on their remarks. That way you'll get to know which commercial canine care operators are recommended and just why. That takes a heck of a load off your shoulders as the chances of a mishap or mistreatment are minimised.
So my call, is get in with the crowd who are going to be valuable to you.

I live within a city of only 40,000 but close to my doorstep as it were, are four other cities - all larger or much larger and not a great deal further afield are two more cities and a large-ish town. So I have tons of choices of various dog clubs and there are a multitude of commercial canine care operators.
