It is unlikely that a human would eat enough chocolate to make them sick or kill them. It's the theobromine in the chocolate that is toxic to dogs.
And if you want to go along those lines a human could drink enough water to make them sick too. (Even pure, uncomaninated water.) Again, very unlikely.

I didn't say we shouldn't be concerned or look for the best alteranatives. Shoot, my water comes from an artesian well or from a mountain stream (piped to allow for filling of conatiners). However, I don't think we need to panic over this. As the reports her stated (and we've been getting them on all our news channels for over two days now), even ground water and aquifers can be contaminated. And most tests won't tell you if there is drugs in the water, it has to be a test that looks for them specifically.
By and large the US has safe water and people don't need to be overly concerned.
