I never let Duncan or Chloe drink out of puddles on our street because I was always worried about the possiblity of antifreeze being in it. We have a lot of cars that park on the street and some do leak something it seems.
They both are always drinking out of our ponds, and I asked my vet about it. He didn't seem to worried about that. I don't know if it's because the water is always running or they are the only animals as a rule in out backyard. Maybe an occasional cat (with a death wish) comes into the yard and gets a drink. If there is a cat in the yard, Chloe chases it out quick!!!! Her yard, nothing is to be in it.
