i have found it hard to find info. i did find a little about it,however,it has been a while back,and my memory is not what ie used to be! LOL! I do know it is VERY fast acting,and if not caught in time,DEATH! the e-vet did exactly the OPPOSITE treatment that should have been done.this is all hindsight, of course.IF only my own vet had been on duty! they need transfusions, liquids,NO FOOD. it usually happens before 4 yrs.i vaguely remember all this,and cannot remember the name,other than what my breeder called it.it just would help to talk with someone who knew about it and could offer more info. old sayihg 'MISERY LOVES COMPANY".my husband and i have never gotten over it!!
