About 20 years ago when i was national director of the YMCA, I named a pedestrian walkway that led to the YMCA near the CBD of Wellington "Darracott Lane" after a long serving colleague. I had an offiicial looking sign put up on a post in the exact colours and type of other street/road signs. Today, the sign still stands.
