Thanks Debbie for sharing that - I can completely understand the people who had the funeral for their dog. There is love for a dog and then there is love for a dog. If I had that available, I may have done that for Digger. People spend huge amounts of money on funerals for people, sometimes even for people they didn't particularly like because it has to be done so why not spend money on a beloved pet who has brought years of joy and unconditional love to your home and it just may have helped these people with their grief. I think it is a great way to pay tribute to your beloved pet.
