Connie's owner is naughty and has a tight income because she cannot perform her normal job as a Real Estate agent while she is still overcoming her hip operation and the small stroke that she suffered. She never did take Connie to the vet for a prescription diet which would have been low calorie dry food. But Connie's mum does tell that Connie is only on half a cup a day of whatever supermarket dry food she gets. I have my doubts about this (the half cup). I don't know what her original weight was when I took her on but it would have been around 40 pounds. She was fat then and still is but nowadays she is less the heavy panter and really looks forward to her times with Taylor and me. She tells her mum that we have arrived well before we randomly reach their front door and then she says take me where you are going.
