Jodi,
I like your story of the little boy. I can picture it just as if I had been there.
There is more and more Corgis in my area ,everytime I see one being walked I want to stop and talk to the owners, usually when I am not able to since I am driving.
There are huge dogs at the park I go to let Duchess run loose. We were walking with two Great Danes that were 180 pound each and an Irish Wolf hound, "Higgens" who was as tall as the Danes. They are all so gentle with the smaller dogs, I have no fear of leaving Duchess walk with them. But when I see a Pit Bull or Shepherd type coming our way I keep her close to me.
