Chewing Corgis

Why do Corgis chew on things?
Things such as a $1000 dining set, a $300 pair of shoes, a $3000 couch, a $250 purse.

1. Puppeis and juvenile Corgis learn about their environment by mouthing and gnawing on objects. Typically these objects can be shoes, books, bedposts etc. May be play-related or investigational. It is normal behaviour.

2. Some adult Corgis chew out of boredom or because they have been 'abandoned' by their owners each day. they may dig, search for personal items belonging to the owner/family.

3. Chew because of a nervous personality or some phobia - eg thunder, fireworks, wind, other noises.

4. Chew because it is FUN. So give your Corgi things to chew on.
