I'm going to get some cheap shop lights from the hardware store and use those as a cheapo lighting setup until I have the money to get the good stuff. As of now, I hate flash except in certain situations, even if I have the detachable swivel-head flash. I take most of my photos outside. I guess I just prefer natural lighting. >^^;<

So if you don't have the option for a special flash, turn that flash off and turn on as many lights as you can, or go outdoors if it's daylight.
