I opened the new bag of Canidae this morning, and when I gave Charlie his breakfast, he sniffed at it and looked at me like I had changed his food. It took him a minute or two to start eating, and he kept looking at me like it wasn't the same food or something. He did finish it, but I thought his reaction was odd.

Do you suppose there is some variation of the mix of ingredients between manufacturing lots? Or maybe after opening a bag the food loses some of its "aroma" overtime, and the new bag smelled very "fresh". I don't know. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?
