I'm just sorry that Cardis are so out of fashion. But they are not the only dog breed to fall into this category.

Of course some Corgi owners will tell you that Corgis (both Pems and Cardis) are such a special breed that they require special attention and care. Perhaps this is working against the Cardi in particular.

Last night I got a phone call from a woman with a 4 year old Pem, Sophie, who wants me to look after Sophie for five -six weeks while she and her hubbie are on holiday later this year. Her remarks were: Corgis are different to other dogs and so need someone who understands them. I don't quite agree, but I'd try the same for Taylor when the occasion arises. By the way, I told Sophie's owner that she would have to join the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club first - and she is going to.
