June (Jane Austen) very kindly loned me a copy of the DVD of Little Do Lost and i am showing the tv movie to a group of Wellington Corgi Club members this Sunday at my home.
Of course the movie is old hat and the plot typically far fetched and some of the dialogue and narration not always correct, but it certainly showed off a Pem Corgi in good light - sensitive, friendly, alert, resilient, brave, crafty, herding skills, sympathetic, good natured, intelligent and above all a little ball of speed. The movie was almost all of Candy on the run and he was up to it in not having any excess weight. Candy knew when his bread was buttered. or in other words his mind ticked like a clock. The pup in the movie was not the cutest example of a Pem pup but in the early 60's Pem's were not as generally glamorous as they are these days.
