Any law is only as good as it's enforcement. That is the first step, use the laws that are there now to protect dogs. BYB is a particular topic that I am passionate about.

I could not imagine a situation where my gov't decreed the walking of my dogs.

I just came in from a very carefull walk with Montrose, my poor old dear does not any longer go for 'walks', but makes it a few yards down the road on her good days to sniff at her hearts content. Before that I walked Dylan, at a very particular stride, and timed too, as his post op instructions call for.

Any such gov't's rules and regulations would not apply to this mornings outings I am sure. It's a very scary thought.

I would support a law that regulated the sale of dogs, that would control, somewhat I would hope the BYB.
