Hello:
I am originally from Northern NY (where it is 40 below for weeks and days on end) I now live in TN which is my home and I love it. Anyway, I had a corgi mix that I got when he was about 6 weeks old. The snow would get over 3 foot high in our yard and my husband kept a path shoveled in our yard for him all winter so he could go outdoors to do his business. He never got sick even when it was 40 below. I just could only take him out for a very short few minutes because I was afraid of him freezing his feet when it was that cold. Fortunately he knew what needed to be done and hurried back to the heat. Good luck with your pup.
