Taylor on TV
Next Wednesday morning on national television, Taylor and I are going out live from a studio only several minutes away from where I live, and I'll be talking about the 2006 NZ Canine Heroes Awards. I'm also to talk about Taylor and why he got runner-up in last year's awards in the Pet of the Year category. I've arranged another local person and her Cocker Spaniel named Gilby who finished runner-up in the Life Saving category in 2004, to also take part in the studio interviews. Then Taylor has to perform agility in some kind of arranged circuit in the studio. I take it that the set will be a large one. Anyway the show's producer didn't know what agility was all about so I told her it was hurdles, hoops, tunnels and planks. So God knows what they will come up with - and do they realise that Corgis have the shortest of legs and poles on hurdles can only be so high from the ground???? I also expect they will get me to talk a little about my book, Amazing NZ Dog Stories. So it will be great publicity for the Heroes Awards, for Corgis and for my book.
