Chip goes out in the middle of the night and also several times a day and goes potty. When it rains, he doesn't want to go outdoors and has had a few accidents on an old rug by the door. I think he believes he is made of sugar and will melt if he gets wet when it rains. I take a handful of treats and coax him from the deck to the yard and he will potty on the sidewalk and run back in the house. When it is raining, he has been known to poop on the deck. Sometimes, he gives me that pathetic look he has like "don't make me go out in that nasty stuff" I am hoping he will outgrow it. But anyway, I would say a six month old pup needs to go out more than 2 or 3 times a day at least Chip does. I wonder what the average age a corgi pup should be completely housebroken.
