I guess that some breeders feel that they'd be worried about not being able to keep track of their dogs in another country - I don't know. Rupert is from the US - way down in Indiana by the kentucky border. I'd rather a breeder be fussy about where their dogs go than not give a hoot. I think she was just as concerned that we live in an apartment, but I was clear about the busy full lives my dogs live. The funny thing was she outright rejected me, but Shelly at Raglan said she's be happy to have one of her dogs be part of my family.
If the breeder I'm contacting Monday won't have any pups before Raglan, then I will probably go with Shelly and we'll drive out there for a visit in a couple of weeks when I'm on vacation. If we do, I'll get some photos of Taylor's sister Gypsy - that's so cool, what a small world!
