Over The Rhine
Had the grerat fortune today to hear a concert by the brilliant American Country Alternative group, Over The Rhine. They are basically a husband and wife team with a couple of other musicians. Karin (young and beautiful) is the soloist and she plays guitar. What a dynamic voice and what great lyrics. I met Karin before the concert and she was rapt with my Pem, Taylor. Karin is hugely interested in dogs and wears two medallions around her neck - one of her dog that passed away and the other of per present dog - a Great Dane-Lab cross. Well, karin heard about my new book, Amazing New Zealand Dog Stories, and she wants a copy. So I am going to post her one as soon as I receive her bank cheque for US$21. She gave me her email address. I think they live in Cincinatti.
Has any GoCorgi member heard of Over The Rhine - they have produced lots of CDs. And does any member want to buy a copy of my book, to be launched next Thursday.
