Question corgi fairs

Hi Debbie Glencorgi,

I was reading a thread where you talked about corgi fairs and information booths. I see you are in NC - I live in WV with family in Charlotte. I will be retiring in two weeks and will have a lot more time to check out things that interest me like your fair.

Could you tell us more about the NC corgi fairs, the dates and locations or a web site to check out. I would love to come to one this spring or summer. It sounds like a great outing. Are well behaved corgis welcome or would it be better to leave them at home? I have two - Emma is very easy going and socialized and Chloe is 11 weeks now. She seems very smart is already getting the hang of potty training, comming when called, and is learning to sit on command (with treat in hand .

I agree that not everyone who wants a corgi or lab or beagle for that matter really needs to have that pet. Some people and pet are not suited to one another - that doesn't mean they shouldn't have a pet just maybe not the first breed they think about. We had a Golden Retriever while my sons were growing up - she was perfect for active boys and I am so glad we had her. Their Grandmother had an Italian Greyhound - also a perfect match for her BUT not my boys. Nothing wrong with either breed as long as they match the lifestyle of the owner.
