Actually an oatmeal bath should not irritate the skin, it should do quite the
opposite - soothe it

Oatmeal baths are often recommended for those suffering from Chicken pox and other skin irritants - it is very gentle.

Chips mom - I also read where you are not supposed to bathe the dog 2 to 3 days BEFORE applying frontline also. Not sure why.
