This is indeed a grey area, not black and white. I can see both sides but I am leaning towards yes. Those of you who followed the "New Puppies" post recently, saw all of the questions the knowledgeable members of GoCorgi were asking the "breeder". Two things came out of that. 1. All lot of "newbies" learned what you should know about a breeder or what to ask about the pups. 2. The "breeder" never responded to any of the detailed questions beyond that the pups were AKC registered and they had been tested for hips and eyes - this to me would raise a red flag about this "breeder" and I personally would not have gone to them for a pup.

I think that there should be a way for people to "advertise" their pups, dogs for sale or stud services. Perhaps with a form that allows certain things to be ticked off - such as testing, registration, health issues, etc.

I know how difficult it has been for me in the last few weeks to find reputable breeders with pups, and having somewhere with good information would have been a places to start. How different would it be than the many Corgi and kennel clubs I saw with lists of breeders that had disclaimers saying they in no way endorsed or guarenteed any of them?
