Hi Liz, I have gotten 4 babies from Betty Ann, and one will be shipped next thurs.,a little blue merle boy.This will be no.5. My oldest who was 3 died last sept. of a fast acting disease that no one knows where it comes from.my vet was not available so i had to take him to emergency and i do not think they knew what it was or how to treat it.He was our heart and so beautiful!! In any case, the breeder was not at fault. your baby is probably from the same litter as mine.what color are you looking at,as she sent me pictures of some black & whites,instead of a blue by mistake. she had a tri-black that was beautiful.Betty Ann is VERY hard to talk to, it is like pulling teeth.All of my babies are beautiful, and sooo sweet! one of mine has an overbite,another has one blue & brown eye,&the next i think the coloring is wrong. 2 are b & s at 8 months, one is now 3.I really don't know what to tell you about her, other than being short for words,and if you look around she has produced a lot of champions.i have talked with other breeders and they had no unkind words about her.She is well known in the cardi world.you do what you feel comfortable with.You can call her if you wish,i do.She does seem to care about her animals.when did not call her after i got my last 2 (there was a miscommunication) she called me frantic to see if i got them.I have had many dogs in the past,but the cardi is one of a kind.I will never own any other breed.they are funny, so sweet,smart and adapt VERY easily to your lifestyle.some of their antics are hilarious. I have learned you MUST be firm with them when training.Not mean,you know what i mean! Let me know what you decide, and what you are getting.
