Copperleaf (not Copperfield) kennels are owned by Joy Devery who lives about 50 miles from me. She has a really lovely winning Cardi that I saw at conformation shows when I last was showing Taylor. Badagri Kennels is owned by Helen Arps, Cambrian (not Cambria) Kennels is owned by Nanette Green of South Australia and is not a Kiwi (NZ'er).

Ann Aitken has just joined my Corgi walking group and she has six Cardis at present including two puppies that she is keeping. Ann lives 30 miles away from me in a little farming place called Greytown on the other side of a mountainous hill. Ann use to have Pems only but she changed to all-Cardis because she says they get on very well together as a group. - unlike Pems and are collectively quieter.

I know Robin Robertson well. She moved some years ago to Australia - her husband is Aussie - but she visits NZ from time to time. Robin was NZ's most competitive (some might say combative) ring handler at conformation shows. But on her best behaviour, Robin was Miss Perfect in handling and she has turned out many excellent Pems. In her younger days she also took a Pem or two through to champion status at obedience. Her husband, Bruce, who also has a great interest in Pems and is a conformation show judge as well and is an outstanding veterinary doctor..
