Duchess paws on my bed when she wants to get me up for a potty break or she thinks I have missed her feeding schedule.
Another interesting thing she thinks is her duty. My sister has nightmares and during the dream she screams, Duchess will start barking. I open the door to sister's room and the dog goes in barking to wake her up.
