I had 2 corgi mixes for years and I traveled all over the east coast with both of them without any problems. I also would not go where my furbabies were not wanted. I now have a new corgi, Chip and we found Maybelle, australian shepherd mix, in a field about 3 months after we got Chip. It has worked out very well now that they are both housebroken. They run and play and are best friends. I cannot tire Chip out when I play with him myself either. I would say go for it if you truly want another pup. I think you will be glad you did. Chip also goes to obedience class but it is not the same as having a best friend in your own home.
