Ace is definately a chewer. Has been since day one and I don't see him growing out of it. He doesn't chew the furniture but kitchen walls and cabinets are another story! Lately he has decided to chew on the baby gate when we leave him for awhile. We have gone through so many toys I can't believe it. He chews them, I sew the ears and heads back on, he chews them off again! On the up side, my stitching has greatly improved! Bully sticks have saved our house. Ace can chew a 12" stick in one day.
When Jim and I went on a short trip this summer, my in-laws stayed at our house to watch Ace. Somehow Ace was able to knock over the baby gate (twice) when they were out. The whole house was his for the taking and he decides to go after my helpless plant. He chewed that sucker down to nothing! (It was about 3 ft. high) He attacked the plant both times! The plant is now recovering on the back patio! It is about 6" high now!
