If I thought for a minute I could get "foul weather gear" ON Chloe, I would invest in some!

Here, where we are in Michigan, the weather is often similar to Linda's in Madison - TOO COLD

!! I actually worry more about Chloe's paws, however, when the temperature dives below zero - several times last winter, when it was 20 below, she couldn't take care of her business fast enough and she picked up her paws and limped...we scooped her up and carried her inside! My friend who has a Seeing Eye Dog, puts boots on her dog when the weather is terrible...I don't think boots would work on Corgi's short legs!! ...
I would think a fleece "jacket" would at least break the wind on those subzero wind chill days and would be a good idea. I wonder if there are patterns to make dog coats...It might be worth a look - I'll check in WalMart's fabric department next time I am there! Since I am not a big fan of winter Chloe doesn't spend as much time out in the snow as she would like...Hey!...THANKS for reminding me that winter is right around the corner...we have leaves turning color already!
