Corgi help from the City Council - 04-28-2008, 08:44 PM

Just found out that the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club can get funded by the local Upper Hutt City Council for both the purchase of a new crate and a new carry cage. These are needed for the purposes of Corgi rescue/rehoming. Good to have these things at the ready in case of emergencies. As well, we will be able to lend them out to members for temporary purposes. I have been told that we will be certainly funded if the total costs are under $250. No problem. CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANY OTHER ITEMS WE MIGHT NEED. The funding application starts in June.

Leads, collars, treats, toys ... what about veterinary needs?

Leash, collar, toys, treats and general vet fees could all come under a credit account with the local vet clinic which also is a small pet shop - so I may be able to add a credit account for say $100 -$150 to cover these things for a 12 month period (the council grants are per annum). thanks, Debbie.
