I thought you just said you didn't need a "show Dog", but wanted to to agility? If you want a Show Dog, that is a whole different ball game and you won't find one for $1000. Like I said, Call or email the breeders, they can advise you on their breeding practices and cost and give you all the information you need about getting into showing dogs if that is what you really want. But They will most likely co-own the dog with you - so best to discuss with them

Oh Good for you that is neat. I would think you are very busy with your studies - how many years do you have left? You did mention that you want a Corgi next October, so will you be done by then?

Honestly, I have no idea what Show Corgis cost, but Emilie(dillydoodle) gave you some info and it will depend on where you live, but I don't think you will get one for $1000 - you should really just call or email those breeders in Minnesota to "inquire"; just tell them that is all you are doing Good luck

Well I am still in High school right now, because I was held back. I am eighteen. It is going to be about nine years of college, which I am ok with, because I love animal so much. I love to go to petsmart and the humane societ. I love almost every animal. I am afraid of horses though, because they are so tall.

I want to own my own clinic. I want it to be a nonprofit organizesion. So I can help the people with their pet that really need health attention no matter what their finantial situation.

Well, I assume that it would be your parents taking care of the Corgi if you got one in October because you would be busy going to vet school
