This is one of the breeders I looked at when I was considering getting a cardi. THey seemed very reputable and caring.

Their website is not among the best but they have done what I advocated as good marketing and advertised the expected eventuality of puppies so as to alert prospective buyers. This is done quite often in NZ among well respected breeders.

Michael, I'm not sure whether you need to get a USDA broker's license or the forum members need to take up a donation to get you an Eldorado Cadillac, velvet leisure suit, fedora with a big ol' feather, a full length fur coat and numerous gold chains so you'll be blinged out appropriately.

Did you get permission to place this information on Go Corgi from the breeder and website owner? IF not, that might be a prudent move. I realize it is on the web and full public access, but it crosses a line to post it to a forum/list in the manner you did without permission. I can promise you IF you try this with some Cardigan and Pembroke breeders without getting permission first, well let's just say I wouldn't want to be in your platform shoes.

I see nothing about PRA status or OFA or Penn-Hip clearances. I personally know some of the favorite links there and I can tell you her first one, her reputation has not improved since switching from Pembrokes to Cardigans. That opinion is shared by some of the breeder specialist judges who have even judged down under in your neck of the hemisphere. There is another one that is also suspect in reputation. This has nothing to do with getting beat in a show ring, it has everything to do with Cardis of their breeding ending up in the hands of what I would define as true puppymillers and the responsible Cardigan community cleaning up after them.

Furthermore, it only says puppies are expected in August 2006, not that a litter actually made it on the ground or as you said:

As one who has learned the hard way, it is not always good to count one's puppies before they are whelped.

I sincerely hope you did get permission to post the information here and will advise to be sure you do should you post information like this from someone's website in the future.
