We've Been Quiet Lately
Hi all my fellow Corgi lovers!
Sorry if I have been lax about posting tidbits about life with Rhys and Andrea - as well as responding to others. Rhys and Andy's Grandma (my mommy ) has been here since Wednesday and we have been busy! The dogs and I have been getting spoiled, of course! For instance, we found out that Andy gets cold easily and Grandma insisted on buying her two adorable sweaters to wear when she goes out on cold mornings (we have had a bit of a cold snap this weekend). I will have to post pictures soon, as she looks absolutely adorable in them! We have also gotten lots of treats.Right now, I just finished a paper on William Gladstone for my British history class and my mom is napping on the couch...with two beautiful Corgis snoozing alongside her. ![]() I shall post more news by next week. Have a lovely one. Tana PS - Andy went to the dog park for the first time yesterday - she was not really sure what that was all about! |

I know, I read that and thought "cold snap" and had to look again where you lived
it was 34 degrees here this morning, but the wind chill made it feel like 25 - you can't possibly be colder than that right now Look forward to seeing her in that sweater. |

Ohhh! Corgis in sweaters! I would love to see pictures too! I want to get one for Ace but am waiting for the weather to cool down more. As for a "cold snap" we live in Texas (way down south in Texas) and we had the same cold front Tana got this weekend. It actually got into the 50's for us. I know that doesn't sound cool to most of you! I grew up in Ohio and it's fun to see the kids come to school in heavy coats, gloves, hats, scarves. ect. in this kind of weather!

Tana - British history - how boring. I'd rather be at the dog park with my Corgi. And don't worry, the more times you take Andrea to the park and let her off the leash to get involved socially with other dogs, the more she will feel at ease and want to participate.

It's 37F here in Toronto right now - nice and crispy - poor Texas, must have been what 65 degrees or something horrible like that?
I only do the coat thing when we reach double digits below zero as then it gets so cold you have to protect their hearts and vital organs. We'd love to see some photos soon of the kids - it sounds like you are enjoying having her.

Yes, Deb - I am enjoying her very much! And I think she enjoys her little sweaters!
jprechel, how far south do you live? We are in Houston and it actually made it to the mid/high 40s the other night...brrr (that's pretty chilly for this time of year). Plus, it was windy here this weekend, which didn't help. I think it's back to the high 60s/70s today. And Michael - I am getting my PhD in British history! I love it! But I can see how it might be boring to some. And I plan on taking Andy to the dog park as often as it takes...Rhys could not stand not getting to run around the dog park!!

Ahhhh, grandma is spoiling her! Girls are far more fun to buy for than boys. I am trying hard tokeep a lid on myself!
Tuck has a great sweater and I will find one for Mis Lulu that is equally as precious. In pink of course! Yes, it has to be pretty cold for me to break out the sweater, usually because there is a good wind blowing.

It was in the 30's here this morning also and hasn't warmed up much if at all. I do remember those cold double digit below zero for days on end days and I don't miss them at all. However, it is still cold here today.

Oh I envy the cold weather u guys are having there. We have terrible weather here in Singapore due to the forest fires in Indonesia. Heavy haze causing everyone to be sick, everything smells like BBQ. Its hot here 32 degress Celcius. Not much wind.
