She loves camping and rides wonderfully, but her first camping trip was when she was 12 weeks old and we took her camping in the Smoky Mountains.
I am wondering though about wooing sounds. I have had people stop me in the local Lowes Home Improvement etc stores (where they allow us to put her in a shopping cart) and ask me if I have noticed her making "wooing" sounds as if trying to talk. I am not sure I know what they mean or if I am just missing this behavior. I know my Bassett used to make noises as if trying to talk but not sure if they mean that type of thing or if it is something else.
Also my Corgi (Sassy 1 year old sable Pembroke) will sometimes sit back when we eat and will not beg, but if you look her way and she is looking she will immediately turn her head as if she had been scolded, we have never scolded her for begging (as she does not beg). I feel bad but my husband says she is doing that to get us to feed her, which she gets Science Diet food and treats as well as raw veggies. When you go to give her a treat sometimes she will back up from you till you call her and show her it is for her. If I had rescued her I would have thought she had been mistreated but we have had her since 8 weeks old. Could I be doing something wrong?

*~* Hello...!!!
I have two 6 month old Pembroke Corgi sisters.
Their names are: Midnight & Sunshine.
Midnight makes this sound, "Ba-wooooo" when she barks. I haven't really ever heard Midnight bark ! She just kinda has her own unique style.
So....YES, in my home I have a Corgi that "Ba-wooooo" 's.
Sunshine is a quiet girl.
She only barks at the Bulldogs who live at the house behind ours.
There are 2 bulldogs.
The female likes to stick her paw in between the fence...so that Midnight & Sunshine can lick it to death !
( We have a shadow box style of fence ).
" Ba-wooooo "....or...." Roo...rooo...roo...rooo " are the common ways that Midnight communicates !
In the morning...Sunshine make a low soft "woof" when she knows that I am getting her food ready.
