I seriously think you should consult a dog behaviourist over this one because such an expert on site ( at your home) and seeing your dogs reactions and body language etc might be able to sort the matter out successfully. It is too important to let slide or be forced into a position to separate the dogs from themselves and you permanently. It is a situation that shouldn't happen. Maybe age is a factor or something has come between the pair that you have not picked up on. Maybe you and your human family need to make changes. Maybe Corgi management changes need to be made. Maybe complacancy by the human factors has crept in and rebounded onto the Corgis

I certainly don't want to hijack another one's thread but.....

I have written before about my dog's fighting and thought we were making progress. Keeping them separated, watching for any and all clues of "trash talking" and etc.... They had a horrible fight last week.

The dog behaviorist is suppose to call back tomorrow. I certainly don't want to have to find one of them a new home. I am heart broken and yet I constantly hear that I will not be able to keep them together.

Oh..and my kids are now 14, 12 and 9. And yes they know to clear the room should a fight begin....

It is a shame that two dogs you love and who individually love you, won't respond to your instructions when they get into a fight situation. I hope the dog behaviourist is the answer to your hopes.
