Well thanks everyone for making me feel like the worst Corgi owner on the PLANET. I didn't you everyone on here was so perfect. I come on here a short time ago looking for some guidance and appreciate all those who have given it. Then I see a thread about aggression and wow..lets BASH the owner for being weak. It must be really hard to be so perfect like everyone on here.

I am sorry that you felt like we were personally attacking you, but we weren't. You initially made a thread with a plea for help with your Corgi George. There have been other people with dog aggression issues and you are not the only one; and I am sure that is why that thread was started. Sometimes other threads will lead to the posting of other new threads for discussion; with the intent of passing on information to help others.

Some of us have owned more than 1 Corgi in our lifetime, some of the people who responded to your thread and the Aggression thread deal with rescues and are breeders and quite knowledgeable in the upbringing of Corgis, and why they are often relinquished. They were only trying to help.

Sorry you were offended. I hope you will find answers for George and your family.

I apologize if I offended you by starting that thread. It was not my intention. Like Linda said there has been many of these types of threads lately and that is why I asked. You are not a bad corgi owner and knowone thought you were. you are just like us trying to figure out the best way to raise and teach our pups. I commend you for asking for assistance.

Sandy, I am sorry you feel this way. I just want to clear something up. The only thing I can find that you may have thought was pointed at you was something I posted: The dogs I see many times deemed as aggressive mainly had the WRONG owners. I am not saying BAD owners, just not good alphas and that is what a Corgi must have.

Now, just so you know, I posted this without ever having seen your original post, or any of that thread. I also posted this without knowing you had sent me a private message, and if you read carefully, I am not talking about you or your dog, I am talking about dogs I have SEEN.

I'm sorry if you misinterpreted that. I hope above all hopes you contact the person I tracked down for you - as you see, I was not at all interested in calling you a "bad owner" I was trying to get you and your dog some help. I STILL hope that, regardless of what you think.

I followed all of the posts and I didn't see why Sandy felt like she'd been been singled out. I'm sure that she has been under a great deal of stress worrying about George and his situation and could have misinterpreted the email. I thought there were some really good suggestions and a lot of support from everyone. I do hope that she will be able to help George and that perhaps she will come back and take advantage of some of the wonderful experience and suggestions offered by folks here.

I am sorry you feel this way, but asking us not to respond is like asking us not to breathe. And I say that in a funny way.

If I have offended anyone I am sorry. I think at some point we have all had our feathers ruffled by each other, including me and have thought of leaving but I can tell you that I am so glad I didnt.

There are some great people on this board who really care about each other and our corgi's, I hope you reconsider and give it another chance.

Come back Sandy, please, please,please. I want to hear about a happy contented George who has finally had his problems sorted out. If you go away, I'll never know the outcome. Communicating by posting emails can be just a fraught with misunderstanding and with using words one might regret later, as any other form of conversation.

I agree with what you said 100%. Our dogs each have their own personalities and quirks. We can train them but honestly they are living beings and have minds of their own, they are not robots...so there will be unwanted behaviors here and there, they are not perfect, and neither are we- and the good dog person cares enough to try and find solutions to issues and work with their dogs.
