More Taylor variety pics - 11-11-2006, 09:30 PM

Taylor,3 looking up at Pinehaven Reserve.jpg In among the grass and flowers of the fields at one of Taylor's favourite places - the Pinehaven Reserve.
One can see Taylor's waistline quite clearly. Sometimes my heart tells me that I must give Taylor a big meal today because of the waistline. Shades of my conformation mindset.

I also agree, this photo should be in a frame, absolutely beautiful. Taylor looks so fit and healthy, great job Michael.

You should use this pic as your avatar Michael! Taylor is a hunk-a-hunka burning love (little Elvis emote would be nice here) The other boys better watch out - he could steal Miss Fluffy Pants heart!

Thanks to everyone for praising-up Taylor. It was a shot that my wife(the photographer of the family) took without any 'proper' posing position - so Taylor's back legs are not square so his topline looks less straight than it really is. But the pic does show a very good chest This wasn't 'doctored' (ie fluffed up)because he hadn't been groomed for the photo). A deep, protruding chest is important for added strength and it certainly helps him to cope well in agility and in endurance situations.
Here is a tip. If anyone want to increase the size (development) of their Corgi's chest, a good daily exercise for a minute or two, os to 'back' pat your Corgi's chest- reasonably solid slaps. Have hi/her sit or stand beteween your legs and slap their chest a good number of times

I have never heard of doing that to a dogs chest and I must ask, who told you this?

It is a common 'gym' exercise for developing the chest of dogs.
