So funny! I bet Ponzo would do something like that...He adores peanut butter. The jar comes out, even if it's for my sandwich, and he starts panting sitting right under the counter waiting for just a smidgen of a taste! That picture is a corgi in a nutshell...."Food, did someone say Food? Where!?"

My corgis like to lick out the remaining yogurt in the Yoplait yogurt containers, and they do get their tongues pretty well down to the bottom, but this peanut butter jar looks pretty deep. You know how magnifying glasses make things look larger, I think part of this is the illusion of the tongue being enormous because of how the photo was taken. I could be wrong. Just guessing.

Rose could almost be that corg as her tongue is like a giraffes. When she was just a wee pup, my bro-in-law was lying on his back on the floor in a cupboard adjusting some plumbing. He was concentrating really hard, and, as people sometimes do when they are concentrating, he had his mouth open. Rosie saw the opportunity and raced for the kill, inserting her tongue so far down his throat that he reckoned she licked his diaphragm. Poor man was huffing and spluttering over that for a while....
