Colcolt:
You would send Dale back in a hurry. He is very vocal and doesn't like to be crated (with the door shut) so you would hear him grumble, growl, moan and groan all the way back to Knoxville and he isn't above giving the dirtiest looks I have ever seen on a corgi. Now Chip loves everyone until they pick him up and he isn't happy either. I think you will need a bigger bribe then carrots. Chip's very favorite is strawberries and Dale follows his brother's lead. That may work.

So Chip doesn't like to be picked up? That's ok...liking strawberries, I'll be he'd hop in the back seat himself if I had a strawberry short cake waiting for him there.
I'm still thinking beans for treats. I hope someone can bring Twinkie. She's a sweet little thing and I'll bet she's as lovable as summer days are long. Last edited by ColColt; 03-28-2007 at 05:12 PM. |

That was his birthday cake this year - his favorite. Here are the two of them together so you can tell the difference in sizes.

Dale doesn't look that much smaller to me...maybe eight pounds or so. I can't believe how much they look alike. I'll be he looked like a mule eating briers after that cake. Come to think of it, I would have, too!

Emily - my manager at Petsmart used to work for a restaurant in Ohio, I think; she said it's the same company, different name? But I can't remember the name. Back to the topic: that picture of Chip and Dale in the bed together is soooooo cute! Little Dale sure has grown fast! What a handsome pair.
