Every member is allowed an opinion and long as it is resembles some kind of sensibility and kept within the bounds of fair play and fellowship which is part of Go Corgi's Mission Statement.
As I see it some members are unfair to Behnderhere and deliberately goad her because of some perception that she has rocked the boat a little in the past and maybe subject to some kind of fanciful notions at certain stages. Perhaps she is not always surfing on the same wave as some other members but that is ok. Live with it and let live. She is quite within her rights to talk about aggressive dogs in the context of this thread - she did not introduce this notion, the member who created the thread did. So by ganging up on her you are just fuelling and creating a situation that wouldn't otherwise exist. As a member told me. There are (too) many drama queens (and not enough audience).
Take a step back and let behinderhere have her say - and if it is too off beat or out of this world - ignore it and go on to something else more worthy of your commitment to Go Corgi. In that way we can all play a worthwhile role. Don't be drama queens or bullies.

Michael:

Mission Statement:
FOR THE PROMOTION OF CORGIS GENERALLY, AND FOR INFLUENCING EXCELLENCE IN THE CARE AND ATTENTION GIVEN CORGIS. FOR THE FELLOWSHIP AND SUPPORT OF CORGI LOVERS.

So, all of us who have been trying to influence the care of a Corgi by someone who has made statement after statement that indicates she is not able or capable of caring for a Corgi - or any other pet at this point in her life makes us bullies and drama queens? As for goading, I have never seen anyone - never mind the person who is supposed to be the moderator of a forum, goad more people into responding to posts that sometimes have nothing to do with Corgis whatsoever.

Behinderheryes hijiacked this thread by posting the photo of "her" pup - I believe she started her own thread on this subject. This was supposed to be Manymuddypaw's thread to tell us about her new dog Jack.

If you are a moderator, then I, for one, would prefer it, if you were indeed moderate, and applied all the "rules" to everyone.

Thank you no one could have said it better.

Couldn't we move the pictures/replies to behinderhereyes to her thread about her puppy? This way Amanda's thread can be about Jack and Jack only. Only a thought.

This could be a never ending saga. I think everyone who posts on the subject of behinderher takes one step back and cool it. No one owns a thread. And many threads go onto completely different subjects and observations or onto sub -subject matters. Some members are just clutching at straws. It is not honest and yet some members are saying that another member is not honest.

You are right about this. Amanda your puppy is cute I have to say this, I love the picture it looks as if the wind is blowing the puppy away. I love the combination of breed it is Corgi/Border Collie. I think your puppy might be good at agility. Might be really fast, you should think about it.

Jack is adorable and oh so lucky to have found a forever home with you!
Kudos to you for giving this little guy the chance he deserves, and unlike some members I have no doubt that he will flourish under your gentle, loving care.

I agree. I also suspect that Amanda recognized his potential for agility as well. Afterall, her Sam and Wicca both ARE titled in agility, not to mention she teaches agility as a trainer.

That's a very good observation from Behinderhereyes re the agility potential. Well done. And it was what I had been thinking. But doesn't it depend on what size the dog eventually becomes. If she is bigger than a mini - where Corgis usually fit into - she will probably be slower than a pure midi-size Border Collie and less able to jump as fluently.

Remedially, a pat on the back from a mentor whenever a "student" finally does connect something is a good thing, I guess. However, <IMHO> I find it rather nervey to try to place "nice" after throwing a disruptive snit and a short walk to the back of the little yellow bus is definitely more appropriate.

Well Jack is a he to begin with. Secondly, Amanda is now running Cardigans in agility (and she teaches agility training as well), so I think she'll be able to figure out where to put in a height class. Third, and Amanda can certainly correct me if I am wrong, I believe there are a whole lot more height class options available in Canada than you are limited to in NZ.
