Dog of the Day

I know it is not the first for a member of Go Corgi, but Taylor was made Dog of the Day on the Dogster website today which has over 362,000 member dogs of which only several hundred are from New Zealand.

Taylor celebrated in advance, his 5th birthday party last Sunday and the local Metro newspaper sent a photographer and several photos were published in the newspaper last Tuesday. The best of them was a pic of my youngest son in the paddling pool with Taylor and trying to put a birthday hat on him.

Thanks so much to everyone who has made a comment here. Taylor has already received 50 requests from other Dogster members so we will take awhile to respond to each.

Here is something out of the box:

There is a new resident at the Heretaunga Retirement Village in one of the apartments. She is a 102 year old woman - a bit deaf but otherwise you would swear that she was only a 70 year old. She just adores Taylor when they met for the first time last Friday week, and I have promised that she can look after Taylor for a day.
