Puppy remembered me - 03-03-2008, 11:45 PM

This weekend I saw one of my puppies that I hadn't seen in over 9 months at the dog park at our monthly meetup. She (Carter) remembered me and mom and dad(Katie and Cody). Normally Katie and Cody basically just hang out together. This time they hung out as a family. It was so cute. All three stayed together. Of course, she was all over everybody. Poor deprived dog. Cody was a great dad and the disaplinarian(sp), still is. He was the herder and kept the puppies together. Had 3.
A few months ago I saw Charlie and he came running up to me from behind. It was at the dog park and he saw me first. Even before he saw Katie and Cody.

It is cool. I wish they would let me babysit Charlie. His mom is a scientist and works for the conservation of turtles here in Seattle (works from home)and his dad works for the Gates foundation. They both travel alot but haven't at the same time. I have volunteered a few times so they know I'm here. I should probably call again in case they lost my number. LOL

That is adorable! A few weeks ago I got an e-mail from one of Nick's sister's owners. She lives somewhat near and we plan on having a reunion in spring. I am so excited. The last time Nick saw his sister he was 10 weeks old. He is 1 year and 10 months now! I am curious to know if they will remember each other.

According to the breeder she used to pick on him (kind of like how my sister picked on me).
