Photo competition
With all these enthusiastic members with fast camera clicking fingers, I can arrange a Corgi photo competition for later in the year among Go Corgi members only.
It will need to be a fun theme and will need to carry a prize. And no photos previously published on Go Corgi will be allowed in the competition. Has anyone a suggestion on a specific theme? Is anyone able to offer a suitable prize or prizes? Last edited by Michael Romanos; 06-27-2006 at 02:23 AM. |

That sounds like fun! Some ideas off the top of my little head are: holiday/seasonal (depending upon the season when the contest is initiated), corgis at work/play, spoiled rotten, or maybe a color theme?
I'll keep thinking . . . I can't wait to see all the pictures!!!!

I don't know, Dudley might give Chip a run for his money in the big ears category now that his are standing straight up (need to post new pics). This sounds like a lot of fun, although I'm a terrible photographer. I like the idea of the winner getting a little write up on the home page and I think unique sleeping spots and best smile would be lots of too! You guys have great ideas!

Good to very good responses so far. Keep coming up with your ideas: on photo themes and prize/s.
If the theme was "a Corgi on a chair," I would have a beauty already. The metro newspaper in my region took photos of Taylor on a wheelchair wooing a resident in the Dementia Unit of a retirement village. And I've been given one of them. If I could just get one only other member to endorse my suggestion, away we'll go....................... Last edited by Michael Romanos; 06-30-2006 at 04:12 AM. |

Most of us have corgis with big ears, some who smile, all who sleep and play, how about a photo of the dog outdoors? Not all of us are great photographers of action shots, nor do all of us have corgis who do agility (pointing fingers at your wonderful dog Michael jumping through the hoops). Let's take a photo that is unique yet we're all capable of taking.

I like the idea of the unique sleeping spot and the vacation. I'm sure we all have great pictures for any theme. I bummed that it can't be a picture already posted. I'm gonna have to stop posting until I find out a theme!!!
