Derry NH Playdate: 06-10-2007

Wow the sun is out at 6:30 this morning. Looks like it will be a great day for the playdate.
I have a cell phone that I hardly ever use, but as a last resort if someone is lost you can try calling 978-378-4074. Someone at in the group may be able to supply directions, if you are off course.
Hope to see a lot of old and new faces, and butts.

We are waking up to sunshine and cool weaher at the moment...let's hope it holds out...

We spent yesterdays rain storms removing a big pine tree root from the yard with a machine courtesy of East Coast Lumber...we're off to do a little yard work and then going to clean up and head over...

Colby whispers to his "pups"..."Hey, after my shower yesterday, I wasnt allowed to go back out in the mudd so I spent the afternoon slaving over the stove making some "numma numma" cookies for you guys. Be sure to check in with my mommy..she'll have a big baggie full of 'em for you!!"

Can't wait to see you all and meet the new people and just have fun!!!

Thank you Colby for the delicious (looking) home made dog biscuits. Each dog recieved three soft and chewy bone shaped biscuits. Thanks also to Sheree who made up some address labels with pictures of our own dogs on them. Plus some corgi buttons and magnets.
I was bowled over by the gift of a Corgi tee shirt from Sam and John. The picture is in black and white but looks exactly like Duchess. Of course the bunny butt is on the backside of the shirt.
We should all get shirts and name our group. The next mentioned playdate may be after the summer at Kingston State Park. A picnic was proposed. Kingston NH is centerally located near most of the group.
Met some nice people who were interested in our corgis and at least one other corgi happened along while we were there. Aaron and Missy brought Zoey . This was Zoey's first time at the park. I am hoping that Aaron or Missy gets on Gocorgi and joins in our group.
It was a wonderful weather day. Not too hot or cold. The dogs all had fun. Duchess is exhausted even though she sat in the shade all the time.

It was a busy day at the dog park. There were all kinds and sizes of dogs.
It was funny how a stranger would see a corgi and then another and another. We were asked if it had been planned to meet like that?
We missed Pat_M’s family and Bryon

just a heads up that I assume I'll be out of touch for a bit, or less active at the very least, as I have report cards and end of school year stuff the next few weeks and then my own classes this summer and we are away the week of the 4th...and we dont have wifi on our boat so.....

We had a great time at the Derry Dog Park....nice park. Nice to see everyone and all their Corgis and other breeds too. The weather was beautiful. A fun time.
