TVNZ are doing a special programme for the Monday of Queen's Birthday weekend, featuring pure bred Corgis, and have invited the Wellington Welsh Corgi Walking Club to be the participants in the filming of this programme which will take place at the Avalon Studios in Lower Hutt ( near Wellington) on Thursday, May 31 in the afternoon. If anyone is interested in participating please contact the undermentioned. It is an exciting opportunity to get your Corgi on national television and for the owner/handler have an imput into promoting and talking about Corgis and just why the Queen would love them as much as she does.

For further info, tel Michael Romanos (04) 528 5861.
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Michael - can you tell me what time and day the show will...er...show? We don't have TV, but I'd make an effort to be somewhere that has one so I can have a perve at the programme.

Clogs and Jane - I have no idea at this stage any timing for the Corgi segment of the programme. All I know is that it is filmed and edited to be shown on the Good Morning show of TV One on Monday, June 4 (between 9am and 12 noon) which is NZ's celebration day of the Queen's Birthday and is a public holiday here.
