Well, the best of intentions seem to go constantly awry as far as this walking group goes. We have had four attempts - yes, four - to Walk with the Corgs, and each time have been stymied by one thing or another. This time, I was sure we would make it, as we will be living in the bus from 1 September and will actually be camping at Harcourts Park from the previous day onwards and will have utterly no-one but ourselves to please. BUT...our daughter asked us to babysit the wee one so she and her man can go to a friend's wedding, and the wedding date is...of course...1 September.

So, once again, the plan for us to join the group goes t's up.

Clogs - Four things.
The Sept 2 event could be held over for the following week if the weather turns belly up!
You could bring the grand baby with you. At our August walk one of our members did just that.
I could take Rosie on the walk.
You could arrange the October walk so that both you and Rosie will be available.

That would be an option! *prays for wet weather*

Somehow, I don't think the baby's Mum is quite ready for that yet.

You'd have to be prepared to come to a remote Wairarapa location for that. And anyway, I'd like to meet the people.

Once we are off the farm and permanently in the bus, we will be a lot freer. The recent glitches have revolved around clashes of interest; water systems going belly up, open days on the farm, big gorse slash-and-burn projects and a funeral.

Say Clogs, why don't you get a plug in on Go Corgi for your property that is for sale. There must be a few people out there who would just love a very large lifestyle block plus house and buildings and to live in a beautiful and almost remote rural area yet be only a 30 minute drive away from New Zealand's second largest city complete with its many city attractions. And Wellington has heaps of job opportunities - NZ has the world's lowest unemployment rate at present.

*slides eyes sideways*
Well, Stephen might object to his corgi site being used for real estate for one.

For two, just keep yer fingers crossed until the end of this month - I may have some news.
