I have not posted here in almost a year, but I wanted to just let everyone know that I belong to the Philly Area Corgis e-mail list, and that tentatively they're looking at doing the Philly Area Picnic this year during the weekend of June 14-15. Many details, including the location, are currently being discussed. I know there are many interested in coming, so if you'd like to have a say, I strongly encourage you to sign up on Yahoo for the e-mail list - the address is PhillyAreaCorgis@yahoo.com.

If anyone is interested in coming and needs overnight accommodations...feel free to send me a PM. I can definitely help you find somewhere pet-friendly to stay.

I am glad to see you posting, I would love to go. We have been wanting to go to Philly just not sure how a hotel/motel would welcome a crew of three corgis.

Bonnie...looking at some preliminary research (I have a GREAT "Dog Lover's Companion to Philadelphia" book), Residence Inn Suites or Homestead Suites are two hotel chains that seem very welcoming to dogs. I know there are many in the area, depending on where the picnic is held. Might be a good option to look into.
